Jabb is an event discovery application that connects local users to events in their area. It gives users real time access to messaging about events and the ability to view those attending events, allowing for a well-informed choice of entertainment for the evening. The app also lets the event creator control who can view their event and track who has attended multiple events at their location. Jabb is the best new event finding app, catering to college parties, neighborhood barbeques, restaurant happy hours, and every social get-together imaginable.

Event Creation

Users can create a secure event by choosing who to invite, restricting the list to Facebook friends or in-app contacts, or opening it up to users in the area.

Events are created with the user’s current location through their phone’s GPS, or by inputting an address. Events can be created with a time, date, and location, and there is an option to upload a picture.

Contact List

Users have the ability to create an in-app contact list – contacts are added through connecting to Facebook or through adding other app users. This contact list can be used to invite individuals to an event in the app.

Real Time Messaging

Real time messaging on each event’s page through a messaging forum allows users to ask the event creator questions and interact with other attendees. Users provide instant feedback on the event.

RSVP

Each event will have an RSVP list, allowing other users to see who is attending the event. The more users who RSVP, the more popular the event becomes, making it more visible through the event filter system.

Stored Data

All events that a user has attended or created are stored in a database. Users can look back at past events, allowing them to add other attendees as contacts. Event creators will be able to keep data on past events, including popularity, attendee demographics, and repeat attendees.
